With the current lifestyle, many individuals are opting for single parenting without giving much thought of the consequences. Single parents have responsibilities of paying of school fees, providing food and shelter. It’s clear that all these responsibilities need extra determination from the parent. However, single parenting has a number of unique challenges that are unknown to the married couples.
In the above example, the first sentence talks in general about the consequences of single parenting. The next sentence provides examples that support the topic sentence. The number of phrase sends a message to the reader asking questions, like what are these challenges being talked of?
This is the most important element in an essay. Here, writer explains his points in details to the readers. Each point is discussed in separate paragraphs so clearly there are close to three paragraphs in this part of an essay. The paragraphs follow the same structure as the introduction, begin with the topic sentence, supporting examples and conclude.

One of the challenges faced by single parents is stress. Stress comes in when your ex-partner is not supporting you in bringing up your child. When living as a couple, there are fewer challenges faced due to the help you get from your spouse. Once, separated your partner does not see it much of a need to help. Until you find a job that can provide some financial security, economics can be the overriding concern in your life. Furthermore without support from family members and friends, single parenting can really be hell at times.
Secondly, single parenting leads to increased task load. Apart from working during the day, the parent has to go home to cook dinner, do some laundry and clean the house. Sometimes prepare the next meal to be taken the next day. This leads to chronicle fatigue that causing parents to extend this by yelling to them anyhow. Unless you set aside some time to rest and recuperate they can experience burnout and depression throughout their life.
In both the two paragraphs, ideas have been well organized and points well discussed. Starting an essay with the sample of the essay layout above is not very challenging. Make this a starting point which you can develop from.
The conclusion summarizes the points discussed in the preceding body paragraphs.

With the reasons mentioned above, single parenting is an issue that needs to be talked over between the two partners and an agreement has to be made. Handling stress and a lot of loads for one partner is risky. Therefore people should opt for other solutions than just single parenting.
