Department of Homeland Security

A cabinet agency with the responsibility of safeguarding public security is the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Similar to home and interior ministries in other nations, it is part of the federal government of the United States of America (Lee, 2014). Regarding the responsibilities assigned to the DS, it is also intended to make sure that the nation's infrastructure is well-protected against any harm, whether it comes from within the nation or from outside influence.

A nation's security, well-being, and economics are all directly impacted by its infrastructure.

This is attributed merely to the fact that infrastructure is critical to the survival of all the aforementioned factors since it is the foundation upon which they happen to survive each day. However, the DHS cannot manage the role-play single-handedly without a helping hand from the people and departments that may prove to be of great assistance to them. This is the reason behind the DHS working in tandem with businesses, local governments, and communities to ensure that they explicitly enhance resilience and security of the underlying infrastructure in the country (Lee, 2014).

A case scenario of a department under the infrastructural scope is that of a privately owned airline.

In such a case, the DHS is tasked with the role of ensuring that the airline operates in line with the laws that govern the country and acceptably serve the citizens. In so doing, the airline ensures that the very fabric which secures its existence in the state is maintained as it observes security and resilience in its operations.

Objective

An enthusiastic individual who is highly talented and devoted in his line of work currently seeking to work in a firm that may be challenging in the field of my occupation. I am an individual who strives to achieve the best in all that I do and engage thus guaranteeing the best output in my line of duty if given the opportunity to be part of a charitable organization (Axtell, 2016).

Skills

Ability to work under minimal supervision. I have costumed myself to the point that I can manage to carry out the responsibilities that are mandated to me with or without any oversight.

Academic Performance. In accordance to my transcripts, I am sure that I qualify to undertake the job in the stated field as I attained the prerequisite academic performance GPA. This puts me at the forefront for suitability for the job and the certainty of performance.

Multitasking. I can easily handle more than one task at a time thus guaranteeing more output at a very short duration of time. I frankly admit that it took me time to master the practice, but it seems to be a part of me now since I find no difficulties as it was the case when I first started it.

Changes

Work History. I made changes on the part mentioned since I had worked in other institutions that were not included in the resume before. Adding this means that I have grown and developed as far as knowledge and experience are concerned.

Objective. In the course of compiling the resume, I realized the I had become more objective in regards to employment as I am well aware of the goals have to achieve in life and at the workplace.

Skills. I added more information t this part because I had become more knowledgeable after my recent employment history and it was necessary to include it just to ascertain to the institution I will be sending the resume that I am capable of handling the prospective responsibilities.
