Influence of Japan on Western Modernism

The text investigates Japanese writers' reactions to Tokyo's transition in the early 1920s. The research focuses on the formal methods of the modernist literary movement. Ultimately, the article focuses on the discussion of one of the Kobo’s works that attempt to transgress the boundary between the experimentalism of modern western arts as well as traditional Japanese arts.
