Service Learning Strategy

Teachers use service-learning to merge community service and the classroom learning experience. Students are expected to engage in programs with the goal of learning a range of skills, such as problem-solving and organizing skills, while doing community service. The students discuss what they have discovered, and in that situation, they come upon areas that need to be addressed, such as noise, and they must find out ways to minimize the cause.
