The primary goal of this article is to write an article on the exercise industry. It also seeks to provide a source analysis by evaluating the documents that were used. Technically, these sources would be evaluated based on their dependability, accuracy, and possible contribution to the analysis.

The fitness industry is massive. There are many options and franchises available ("Fitness Industry Analysis 2017 - Cost & Trends NP"). Essentially, this sector includes all market practices focused on body wellness, fitness, and upkeep (Harvey & Geraint & Sheena & Vachhani & Karen 45). Generally; most people believe that the fitness industry includes fitness centers and programs that are offered in the gyms. It also involves centers that offer people weight losing programs (Kratzman & Arthur & Finpro 23). Just like the name suggests, most people choose to join the fitness so that they can healthy and fit. This can be done through reducing or gaining on weight.

According to facts and figures; globally, there are at least 180,000 fitness centers and clubs (Thompson 19). The numbers keep on changing as time goes by. On the other hand, it is estimated that this fitness clubs and centers offer services to more than 145 million members (Maguire 14). Basically, this number translates to a total of not less than $84 billion paid by each of the 145 million members.

Today, the fitness industry has expanded and is now offering other forms and types of sports such as kickboxing and boxing ("Fitness Industry News NP"). The industry also offers programs that focus on a particular form of exercise. This kind of program is known as Specialty fitness other programs offer training on interval basis such as Pilates, yoga and riding of stationary bicycles ("Journal of Fitness Research - Fitness Research NP").

It is important to note the fact that just like any other business, the fitness industry also has its own struggles (Harvey & Geraint & Sheena & Vachhani & Karen 52). Some of the main struggles associated with this industry is the fact that personal trainers or gym instructors end up offering private services/sessions. Some people engage in Physical exercises by practicing what they watch in videos, consequently they find no need of going to fitness centers ("American Academy Of Health And Fitness NP").Another disadvantage is the fact that most of this centers have a high running budget, this makes it hard for them to operate in case they do not get any customers.

Basically, the cost of starting up a fitness center is very high ((Larocca 23). There is a lot that has to be considered. To start off, buying this equipment requires a lot of finances. Their operational cost are also hard to maintain. Some of this machines require intensive care. A lot of space is also required in settling the machines and equipment.
