The "Internet of Things"

The ""Internet of Things"" is the most recent iteration in a lengthy push toward greater automation and inter-device connection, with the goal of improving the efficiency, accuracy, and cost-affordability of the gadgets that people use every day in their homes and companies. Light bulbs are among the devices that can be linked to the internet. Philips Hue LED Light Bulbs, for example, provide a ""bridge"" that allows users to link tablets or smartphones to the LED light bulbs (Dumanovic, 2015). These gadgets allow users to remotely program lighting preferences. Refrigerators, television sets and washing machines are among the other things which can be connected to the internet. Security systems can be connected to the oral B toothbrushes so as to enable the owner to have a direct control over it on their tablet or smartphone device.

Working with the professional is the only way, Oral B can be marketed to the users. Proctor and Gamble should come up with the marketing strategies which targets these professionals. The app must prove to the dentists that the products would be able to meet the needs of the customers. They should see how the product would focus on the problem zones and should provide brushing instructions which allows for plague removal, whitening and healthy gums. It is only after seeing these benefits that the dentists would be able to recommend Oral B to the patients.

Most of the people take shorter time in brushing their teeth and as a result, they are not in a position to remove all the germs. Besides, the majority of them also brush their teeth only once in a day, either in the morning or in the evening (Bray, 2010). The dentists have the responsibility to educate the people on the recommended length of times and number of times the teeth should be brushed. Given that the Oral B toothbrush provides the solution to this problem, I would recommend my friends to use it given that it provides users with the statistics of their brushing time. The advantages associated with Oral B, such as tongue cleaning, flossing, interactivity and rinsing technology are some of the factors which persuade me to recommend it to other people.

The Achievement trophies tracks once personal bests and award trophies as one achieve more in the tooth brushing process. Even though the trophies are meaningless, it makes the tooth brushing as a fun and one would be motivated to unlock many more trophies (Naziri, 2015). As a result, one would be in a position to brush his/her teeth as required by the dentists, but more importantly it makes one have happier healthier mouths and teeth. Besides, the trophies allow one to be in a position to get dental care recommendations from the dentists and they include focused care areas, custom tips and timers and the setting up reminders. These Oral B app trophies provided to the users are very important since it will motivate and influence them to change their brushing habits as required by the dentists and other professional in the health care profession. For instance, once session length and the brushing streak is counted and the tongue cleaning, rinsing streaks and flossing streaks measured consecutively on a daily basis (Naziri, 2015).
