They should also do a follow up so that to ensure that the procedures are followed properly.

The hospital staff and patients should be reminded to keep food waste out of trash and recycling containers. Waste from food should be separately handled from trash and items that can be recycled. Where appropriate, the hospitals should work on composting this waste or recycling grease with renderers.
