Crimes are dealt with by systems that have been set by human in the form of laws. There are several types of crimes and they are solved differently. The argument remains that the law must prevail and justice is only rendered to the complainant once the other party is proven guilty. The various types of crimes committed by humans are normally dealt with according to the laws set. These laws vary according to the jurisdictions. Crimes categorized as criminal in nature are dealt with in accordance with the criminal law. On the other hand, crimes related to marriages and family issues are dealt with in accordance with the civil laws. In other words, the intrinsic differences between the legal systems are guided by the jurisdictions.

In several instances, the general public has demonstrated that they are not willing to offer support to the criminal justice system and the rule of law since most of these system are under the jurisdiction of the police.
