The old stone age also known as paleolithic era was marked by the early human ancestors who developed simple tools for the convenience of their day to day living. The modern man at this era was able to produce the various features of art in the work. The discovery of fire was one of the inventions discoveries that marked the period.
Fire
The first invention that we can attribute to this period of time is none other than fire. Before the early man adopted a life that focused more on settling down and starting a family, he needed heat to stay warm from the cold and discovered and invented fire. This discovery happened at different times in different places over a significantly long period of time. The invention begun just by creating sparks which the human believed that would later develop into a flame at the end of the day if it was carried out continuously and fully nurtured (Reader et al., 89). This was one of the intrinsic skills that the human society had possessed at this particular time. Since that period, there are so many other methods of coming up with fire that have been adopted. The initial procedures have therefore been abandoned. The fire invention has also brought about other impacts such as the change in diet. The way of preparing food that was earlier on fed without being cooked has also improved and changed as compared to the early stages.
1) Art
The group has also experienced some significant change in the art that they were using. One of the developments is the crushing of rocks using the best stone tools that existed. This group also came up with powdered paint that they would use whenever they wanted to apply them on their caves which were their places of residence (Adams 42).
