Plans for Future and Personal Goals

I come from a lowly family with a single mother

and I spend all my time attempting to understand myself and figure out what I want out of life. In a family of five boys, I am the only one who has the good fortune to go to college. I'm dedicated to working diligently so that one day I can repay my mother's selfless efforts for me. My main goals in life, like those of the majority of young people, are to succeed academically and lead a fulfilling life that benefits those around me. My educational goals rhyme with my passion and strength, which is to become a qualified trainer, where I coach, teach, and help individuals to attain their fitness goals, and as a result, improve their lifestyle.

Pursuing a bachelor degree of Science in Sports & Exercise Science

is the most significant thing, which I am confident will drive me to my dream of becoming an expert in coaching and training people to conduct exercises. Besides my class work, I have some professional experience, like from 2016 August to December, I went for an intern at UCF Sports Performance, where I was setting up and maintaining the weight rooms, acted as the strength and conditioning coach with workouts and athletes, among other roles. Nevertheless, I also had an internship at Alter Ego Fitness from June to August in 2016, where I shadowed the personal trainers, developed knowledge of fitness components and worked on clients’ profiles by keeping track of workouts and updating them daily.

Being brought up in a single parent home, where struggles are real

, I believe in giving back to the society. Since spring in 2017 to date, I am the community service chair of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, involved in community service planning, where I have completed over 100 community service hours during the 2017 summer. Again, I am engaged in John T. Washington Honor Society as the community service chair since November 2016 to date, focusing on professional self-development by attending workshops, and community service planning. More so, since April 2016 until now, I have been acting as the corresponding secretary at Progressive Black Men, Incorporated, which performs community service in the Greater Orlando community, and provide mentorship opportunities for children. Finally, I am the chairperson of Sport and Exercise Science Majors Club, where the group engages, educate, and empower all the Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Since my goal is to be a professional trainer and coach

, who transforms people’s health life through guiding them on the physical activities they need to undertake, I plan to complete my bachelor degree of Science in Sports & Exercise Science, to acquire academic background to connect me with my dreams. Immediately after finishing my undergraduate, I will get back to the community, continue with my society-based training services to the young people, who have talents and they want to progress, at the same time assist those who have health issues. Furthermore, I will enroll in a graduate class, to continue acquiring more expertise in the field of sports and exercises. Later on, I desire to have my training center where people can access all the sports and exercises services at an affordable cost.
