Employees' trust in management

Employees' trust in management refers to their favorable expectations of managers' readiness to make decisions that benefit their overall well-being (Bahrami, Hasanpour, Rajaeepour et al., 2012). Interning at Northwest Medical DuPage Hospital found that the driving cause behind the institution's high-performance ranking is mutual trust among team members and the administration. Particularly, the level of trust between employees and executives is quite strong, as seen by the transparency in dealing with contentious situations, compensation schemes, and the overall working atmosphere. As an intern, the nurse in charge, as well as my supervisors, demonstrated their confidence in me by allowing my participation in some complex medical procedures. Moreover, I was entitled to the overtime bonus just like regular employees in the hospital. It indicated that the culture of mutual trust was part of the organizational strategy to improve performance and productivity among the employees.

Excellence at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital

Several factors illustrate the excellence that is prevalent at the Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital as a result of nurses' trust in the administration. During the internship period, we consistently met the quality objective which is an integral aim of healthcare institutions. The trend is persistently demonstrated through national ranking as a high-performing organization in eight procedures. Moreover, all employees at the hospital are highly valued by the administration. The design of the workplace environment, financial benefits, and the concern for the social wellbeing in the institution created a high level of job satisfaction among the workers. In return, the employees demonstrated benevolence, competence, reliability, and increased commitment to their duties (Bahrami, Hasanpour, Rajaeepour et al., 2012). From my understanding, the outstanding performance in Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is grounded on the mutual trust between the employees and the executives. The concept of trust can yield positive outcomes in all other organizations.
