A Doll’s House Play

Nora Helmer spent her life on stage as a Doll in Henrik Ibsen's play A Doll's Home, playing a timid, helpless character of her own personality. She has spent the majority of her life constructing society's values and expectations of many individuals. She spent a lot of time in a dreaming world until she realized her life had been a sham. In Nora's dream, Nora does not take her life seriously, which causes a lot of complications in the story.

Nora was whimsical and childlike before she wanted to adjust. The first thing she does is pay for the distribution body. His services were 50, and she was given a 100, the additional amount 50 is not such a large amount of money, the way she hand over to him was a showcase of her financial Cummings. She gives the 100-p, before giving thanks , she made up her mind in the middle of transacting time said she is going to be patient to wait for the change of money. The fact that shows her poor attitude.

Her financial irresponsibility is the main factor that has led to the advancement in the plot of the play. Its financial irresponsibility of Nora that catalyzes the situation in which childlike expectation of Nora by Torvalds is shattered. Nora’s forging of the loan documents to make her succeed in raising money for her very expensive trip to Italy has driven cause of the conflict in the story.Krogstad had already processed that loan and he tried to cheat Nora through the documents that was seemed to be forged aspect of this crime which was not elaborated is that Nora`s documents were forged and she didn't have any other way of repaying that reckless loan attitude.

Krogstad being trusted by Nora for not blackmailing her could have been executed, but recognize the fact that the loan paying back is something compulsory. Though at some time we are led to trust in Nora that is going to pay back the loan she would reserve half of the money away from Torvald.When Krogstad complains to her, she confesses that she does not possess the balance.

Lackadaisical approach by Nora is common in the almost entire story, for example, she blames Mrs.Lindel for stealing forbidden macaroon into his house. Acquisition of material is another aspect of the dream world. Nora is buying dresses candy and toys while trying to make herself happy. Nearly a decade ago Nora at no time spent some time with the husband, and she dumped her children to nurse rather than creating the bond between them.

In the dream, Nora take approach and respond to people expectation just like and an object. Torvald called her "Dearest property”. Mrs.Linde said that she would have saved Nora if she could have the Drake. Nora’s childish behavior more paten when Torvald enter the scene. Torvald called her pet`s names "little Miss Extravagant" she Is treated a cute e girl, and she makes her really happy.

Relationship between Nora and Torvald is like that of father and daughter and not that of wife and husband she quarrels with Torvald and does not care about her actions at all. "Oh! Don't say such things!”, Said Nora.Dr.Rank suggested that Nora should be A doll.Nora is character dominant explains feelings when she around Dr.Rank since he has no interest in her. Nora thinks that Torvald will have sacrifice the future he had and reputations to make her save but, Torvald made it clear to her shattering dream world for Nora.

At this argument, it made it flawless that Nora was living with a strange man for all these years. Nora adds that, “Oh, I cannot bear to think of it!” Nora used to follows Torvald orders, but now she is adult and independent and can control Torvald who is playing dolls if you compare Torvald and Nora, Torvald is a real doll.

When Nora come to realize that her character she had was composite to society expectations, she acknowledged principled, staunch and strong. Torvald the man she used to think she was married together was character form from out of her expectations of marriage .She was a doll wife, and she had doll husband and their doll children

Nora growing up became a manipulating tool for others who are impressed that manipulation of other people is a society norm. Nora realizes that if she continues with the same societal norms on her children, the children too will fall into doll trap just like her and her husband
