Why I detest Donald Trump

The American people and their hopes for the 2017 election

The American people were salivating as the 2017 election drew near, hoping and dreaming that Hillary Clinton would triumph. However, Donald Trump won the race and is now the president of the United States. The entire globe is aware of Donald Trump, and some people think he would make a great president. Others, on the other hand, who are familiar with him think he is a blowhard.

Disdain for Donald Trump's views on religion and immigration

I detest Donald Trump for a variety of reasons. Donald Trump claims that he will make America a wonderful country, but he is the one undermining those factors. Trump has portrayed the worst attribute of America in many ways. On the issue of religion, Trump stresses that an individual can only be a Muslim if only he has a card saying that he is a Muslim. During an interview with Stephanopoulos, Trump was asked about his opinion on letting the Syrian refugees stay in America and his response was that they would only be allowed if they were Christians (Ryan n.p.).

Second, on the issue of immigration, Trump says that the only way to keep the Mexicans out of America is by building up a wall. Besides, he suggests that laws to keep Muslims out of America and to deport the Canadians should be amended. Through his opinions, Trump is advocating for enmity and supporting violence in America. Once Trump quoted that his supporters are very passionate which according to me I did not find it to be harmful until I learned that it was in response to what his two of his followers did to a homeless man because he was a Latino (Khalid n.p.). By beating the homeless man and urinating on him, Trump is justifying violence and bringing disparity in America. I feel that people cannot depend on Trump in maintaining any level of parity.

Trump's reputation as a liar

Trump is a liar according to most of the people in the nation. By him becoming famous was through exaggeration and making things to look bigger than how they should be. Some people may find his embellishment to be realistic or funny, but to me I find them to be offending. There was a time he spread rumors about the British royal family shoveling condos at his outstrip to improve their transactions. He later claimed that there was no revenue on his taxes in 1984 after boasting to the media about the money he was accommodating (Khalid n.p.). He misstated his salary from the celebrity novice and lied about handpicking ability at Trump University. He occasionally lied about giving money to charities throughout his professional according to Clinton's campaign. Cooper Alice as well has accused him of cheating at golf among others.

Trump's controversial remarks and attitudes towards race, marriage, and differing opinions

Another main reason why I do not like Trump is that he is a racist. Trump has made many comments in his public addresses that are always interpreted as racist annotations (Frankfurt). Trump has not only said on Twitter that Blacks and Latinos are responsible for many crimes in the country, but also he has been recorded saying that the Europeans should be allowed in America as well as a path to citizenship but not the Latinos of South America and Mexicans. Donald Trump is not a resolute political object, which has respect and ethics. Most citizens are stamped clapping in expectation that a religious conformist will have his opinions forced upon America (Frankfurt).

Trump thinks marriage is supposed to be between a man and a woman, which seems like he is prejudiced against the rights of same-sex couples (Khalid n.p.). He is very intolerant of any differing opinion, creed, or belief. Trump is as well not the business genius that people believe he is. Yes, Trump is a billionaire, but some reasons have made him make bad decisions and have made him bankrupt. Trump is just a rich man who inherited his wealth from his father who made a name for him. Trump campaign dangled his privileged background into a legend of self-made success and achieving the American dream (Ryan n.p.). However, the truth is that he did not create a real estate alone.

Disapproval of Trump's impact on democracy and politics

I dislike him, and I do not believe he can handle the ruins in the country. He is the embodiment of everything that democracy should not be. He has simultaneously and consciously embraced all kinds of negativity that are wearing the Republicans. Trump fostering negative issues has turned people away from politics thus building a message that he is an inflated ego.
