Solution to Red Carpet organizational challenges. Inadequate internal communication, internal complexity, greater maintenance costs, unfavorable public perception, and issues with the violation of federal labor regulations are only a few of the issues that have arisen as a result of Red Carpet's matrix organizational style. In order to increase revenues, the addition of a new division—theatres—requires adequate organizational adjustment. The organizational changes Red Carpet must make in order to increase output will be covered in the paper.

The first step in developing an effective organizational structure within Red carpet, according to Jones & Jones (2010), is the removal of the internal complexity that a matrix organizational model offers. Having two reporting officers may confuse the employees and even result in a conflict of interest. This can be eliminated by settling on the boundary-less organizational structure or even creating a proper cooperation between the two managers in case red carpet insists on maintaining the of dual managers.

The current Red Carpet’s organizational culture does not promote proper internal communication. A prominent solution to the internal communication breakdown can be solved by review of the overall organizational culture, a culture that promotes mutual understanding among workers should be considered. Organizational culture should aim at motivating the workers and making them live to the goals and objectives of the organization (Smith, 2014).

Problems related to breach of federal labor laws can be minimized by settling on professional expertise and drafting of the appropriate legal framework to guide the operations of Red Carpet Company. The legal framework should clearly outline the responsibilities, duties, and obligations of every employee. The workers should be subjected to regular training to adapt to the requirements of the organization. The policy of being non-negotiable can also be revisited in order to enhance proper relation with the suppliers (Jones & Jones, 2014).

To summarize Red Carpet has a very large pool of resources and require appropriate organizational approach in helping this great company achieve its goals. This paper has given the possible solutions to its problems pending addition of another division.
