The Process of Dissemination

The process of conveying the research findings is referred to as dissemination. According to Polit and Tatano Beck (2014), effective dissemination necessitates communicating research beyond the project report. The report on UTI prevalence in the elderly will be distributed through both internal and external channels. A training session with the hospital nursing board would be held as part of the internal technique. An actual report detailing the causes, effects, and effective prevention methods in managing UTI will be delivered to the nursing representatives. It is necessary to guarantee that the recipients grasp the information during the distribution process (Polit & Tatano Beck, 2014). Apart from the fact that the report will be presented in English, the elaboration of the content during presentation will be done in English. The dissemination will be aimed at implementation of the measures at the hospital level. With preventive measures data, nurses will have the ability to manage the risk factors.

External Dissemination Method

The external dissemination method the researcher will consider is publishing the report on an online public portal. According to Polit & Tatano Beck (2014), there are various online services that provide students with the opportunity to publish their information for public access. In the case of the United Kingdom (UK), the e-theses online (EThOS) allow students to present their thesis to the public. The researcher will present the project in a public online service, journal of American nursing, so that the public can access. The information will help create awareness of the measures needed to control the prevalence of UTI among the elderly. Care providers and nursing homes can also use the information to improve their care.
