Hello, midday. Rachel Wyne is your reporter for the day. In the spring of 2018, I'll start in the doctoral program at The George Washington University. I'm going to ask you a few inquiries today about the university. The interview I'll be performing today will last about 30 minutes and give me valuable insider knowledge about The George Washington University while also giving me an open window into the perspective of a graduate student.

Please give me a short introduction of who you are, your educational background, and how long you have been a student here.

My name is Michele Austin, and I'm a doctoral student at the George Washington University. I have been in the institution for eleven months now, and the stay here has been fantastic.

What was the driving force that motivated you to come to this institution, leaving out all the other renamed good schools? Was it a personal decision or did someone like your parents or guardians, friends, coerce your choice of this place?

When choosing institutions for my graduate program, I wanted one that would make me strive hard for excellence. Given the factors that the George Washington University considers in its students including the mean undergraduate GPA and the bar pass rate, I believed that this is the right facility that has met my desires.

From the time you set foot in this place, considering it was also a change of environment for you- new friends, new atmosphere, change of climate, how has the going been? In what way can you term your coexistence here from the period you came?

Changing the environment is a challenge at first, but I have adapted with time since everyone here is friendly and focused, factors that unite us all hence I have learned to embrace diversity.

What are the challenges you have gone through in this place? Have you in one time had a feeling that you should not have come to this place? How have these challenges shaped your stay in this school?

As mentioned earlier, adapting to this environment was a challenge at first, but it is not a problem anymore. The primary challenge is maintaining the required bar pass rate which is extremely high, 80%.It requires sacrifices, hard work, and determination. For this reason, I have become a better person in managing time, being responsible and committed to achieving the goal that brought me into this institution.

From your interactions throughout the years, what can you tell me about the existing relationship between this institution and the students? What motivates them? Which common factors unite or divide them?

The student -tutor relationships in this relations are healthy and strong since both parties are united by one common goal, focusing on excellence hence divisions are rarely experienced as many f the students are quite disciplined and self-driven.

Tell me about the resources here. Are they enough? Up to standards? Does the school library contain all the materials that will ease my research throughout the time I will be here without having to look for materials elsewhere?

The institution has adequate and high-quality facilities and resources, ranging from social amenities to study materials. For instance, the school has an incredibly massive library with sufficient research materials that are well updated hence giving the students an efficient learning setting.

Are the tutors here cooperative? Are they patient with their students, despite any challenge that may crop up?

The tutors are cooperative and patient at all times since they understand that their duty is offer quality and satisfactory services to the students

Which activities do students engage themselves in when they are not in class? Is every student given an opportunity to display his/her talents outside class work? If yes, are they given support to nurture them?

During leisure time, students engage in plays like hockey, table tennis, swimming and even cultural dances and sports. The institution has set apart specific times for these activities and made it compulsory for everyone to participate in them since it also believes in nurturing talents and the long-term positive impacts on these events in increasing students' learning abilities.

Tell me about the emergency services available here in case someone falls sick any minute or is involved in an accident inside or outside school. Are the responses to the same commendable? Can someone's life depend on them?

The school has a vast and well-equipped hospital within the premises with adequate doctors and nurses hence any emergency health cases can be solved within the school setting efficiently.

What else do you think I need to know about this institution?

The school is outstanding, and the experience here cannot be traded for anything else. I am proud to be associated with the school, and I hope you join us soon.

Thank you very much for having time out of your tight schedule to answer my questions. I must say it was a productive session. I am looking forward to seeing you around. Have a good day ahead.
