Personality can also distinguish different countries and groups from others. Different individuals have divergent characteristics and only a few traits of an individual will be the same with that of others. Dr Martin Luther King Junior was born in 1929. He was the middle child of Alberta and Michael. Martin went to school at an early age. His intelligence helped complete his studies at the age of seventeen (Zaleznik, 2015). Martin achieved various academic goals and obtained different degrees from various universities. Notably, it is in Boston where he obtained a doctorate and became Dr Luther King Junior. Dr Luther married Scott and fathered four kids. Martin Luther achieved all his goals as a minister and a civil right leader despite the tough circumstances he went through with the help of his character traits. All his psychoanalytic, phenomenological and cognitive life moments encouraged him to keep fighting for the sake of his fellow blacks so that all the blacks would be treated equally with the Americans (Herbert, 2016). It is through the great personality that Dr Luther portrayed that enabled him to leave back the great history of a courageous civil right leader of the blacks.

Martin Luther King Junior Biological Life

Martin Luther a great civil right leader was born in the year 1929 in the month of January where he was given the name Michael and later changed it to Martin. He was the middle child of Michael King senior and Alberta Williams King. His father was a pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church based in Atlanta while his mother, Alberta was a teacher. Martin Luther came from a humble background where his family came from a poor farming community (Zaleznik, 2015). Martin was greatly raised according to Christian’s ways, which later enabled him become a successful pastor, minister and civil right leader.

Luther’s Education

Martin Luther King Junior he had to accomplish all the education levels that would give him the various titles that he had to become the successful civil right leader he was before his demise. Martin King Junior started his learning processes at an early age. According to Zaleznik (2015), since his mother was a teacher, she gave him the chance to start learning earlier. Nevertheless, Martin Luther could not be accepted at David Howard Elementary school since he was only five years old and the school was admitting children that were of six year and above. Martin was to be admitted next year after attaining six years. It is interesting how intelligent Martin Luther turned out to be, as he did not complete his high school (Herbert, 2016). Martin Luther skipped his first and last years in high school and went direct to college when he was only fifteen years old. The first degree that King attained was the degree in sociology. He later got the chance to work with the church after being exposed to the writings of Henry David. At seventeen years, King got the chance to be ordained as a minister after giving his first speech in Ebenezer Baptist Church. In 1951, Luther graduated with a degree in Divinity and in 1955, he achieved doctorate and became Dr Martin Luther in Boston University. His relationship with his wife Scott also became complicated when she realized that he had different relations with different women (Herbert, 2016). It became evident when the FBI who continuously monitored his moves as a civil right leader presented a recording of Luther and another woman to his wife. The other relationship that was more complicated to Luther Junior was between him and the F Kennedy family when he made a call to his wife explaining that he had nothing to do with Kennedy’s release (Herbert, 2016). Thus, it can be summed up that the relationship of Luther was complicated since many knew him.

Dr King maintained his strong self-confidence that drew more African Americans into believing in him and this gave him the chance to change their lives by ensuring that they are treated equally by the Americans. According to Zaleznik (2015), with the self-confidence that Dr Luther had as a civil right leader, he was able to develop the character trait of constantly pursuing new directions. He did not stay in one lane but came up with new ways of fighting for their rights despite the treats and violent attacks they faced. There are those incidences where Dr Luther Junior practiced phenomenology. Zaleznik (2015) argues that when he decided to take up the responsibility of being a civil right leader, he had the conscious that he had to fight for the rights of those blacks who were rejected. Dr Luther had experienced the treatment that Africa Americans encountered and thus got more determined to fight for the rights of equal treatment by Americans. The other incident where Dr Luther Junior practiced phenomenology was when he accepted to be ordained as a minister after presenting his speech in Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta (Herbert, 2016). Dr Luther knew in church activities and teachings that his parents taught him especially his dad as he as the pastor. Dr Luther related the problem of Americans not being comfortable around the blacks with the way things were happening in Atlanta. He came to understand that the hatred that the Americans had for blacks was the drive that pushed them to commit more offenses (Herbert, 2016). His cognitive personality helped him understand the reason why the Americans did not treat blacks equally.

This happened when the president came to know that known men of the white house were secretly involved in the Communist Party operatives and were working under the instructions of Dr Luther Junior (Herbert, 2016). This got Dr Luther focusing all his efforts and thoughts into convincing the president that he was not involved in the Soviet Union Cold War.
